Monday Activities

  • Third Block-  Math 
  • Show bell work on the projector.  Students will complete and then go over.  Write everyone's guess for miles on the board and then check on mapquest.

Watch CNN student news 10 minutes-  I also write down the highlights and share with them when finished.


Read chapter 24 together aloud and discuss.

Assign 1st  worksheet that is in my book.  

Students can work on finishing their state projects using chromebooks.  Make sure to check back in all chromebooks and mice.


5th Block

Take attendance and students can work quietly on homework or computers.  One person per table.

We are going to the store today.  

You need a clipboard and a pencil to take to IGA.

You need to stay with me as we walk to IGA.  Nobody can cross Main Street until I get there.  You must stay on the sidewalk as we walk.

Once at IGA, you can go through the store to find the prices.  Make sure to look for the closest match to the product.  Write down the price using a dollar sign and decimal.
