Begin discussion about unit 3 digestion.  Read p. 40-47 on worksheets together.  Assign questions and have them turn in when done.  When they finish have them write down what they would have for three meals for 5 days.

Science-  Show Ipad movies on document camera individually.  I will look at them later to grade.
Read p. 20-21 in book together.  Hand out packets and complete together.

Read p. 14 and 15 together and discuss.  Go over vocabulary words that they wrote the definitions for on Friday.

Use microscopes to look at onion root tips.

Write down observations about onion root tips. 

Assign section 4 vocabulary words

Read section 4 p. 16-17 together and discuss.

Welcome back from break. Each student will have a binder of work that they will complete. We will work each day on bell work, worksheets, mad minutes, and projects. Each Friday we will pay bills and update our account. We will also be working on ILearnmath.com to increase our math skills.

Monday 1/7/13 Science

Today we begin a new year of Science. We are going to begin with Life Science. We will be using a textbook and worksheets. We will do some projects with the lessons.
We will take a pre-test on Unit 1.
 You will be responsible for learning the material. First we will watch a video about what is biology.

We will then read unit 1 in our book and write the definitions for the words.



Health 2013

Today we will begin a new unit in health. First we will discuss what health means to us. We will begin unit 1 by taking a pre-test. Read unit 1 from worksheets and watch a video on parts of the cell.
